Tyrion the Kinslayer: All Dwarves Are Bastards In Their Father’s Eyes
Most of Tyrion’s relationship with his family is…well. It’s fairly well spelled out in the text. Tyrion doesn’t really have that many good, healthy relationships in his life, and the ones with his family are perhaps the worst. There’s that poem, isn’t there, that goes ‘they fuck you up, your mum and dad’, and it’s true. Everyone’s parents, everyone’s siblings, they have this massive effect on you growing up. You’ll pick up habits from them, you’ll learn from them. You’ll love them, maybe you’ll hate them. But you won’t escape them, maybe not for your whole life. In the back of your head there’s always going to be the things they taught you, the things they said to you - for better or for worse. And Tyrion Lannister is no different.
